2019 CAC Election

Seeking Candidates!

Ann Henkener, Chair of the CAC election committee, announced preparations for the coming May election for representatives in districts 3, 6 & 8. If you or anyone you know would like to serve as a representative for one of the areas noted election packets will be available for pick up at the Whetstone Library in March. Representatives must reside in the district for which they seek election. It is also required that they personally obtain at least 50 signatures from other district residents on their election petitions. We’ve attached a map of the districts that will be up for election.

Rest in Peace, Nancy Stewart

The Sharon Heights neighborhood (District 9, Clintonville) suffered a tremendous loss this past week. Beloved friend, neighbor, and community advocate Nancy Stewart passed away suddenly at her home this past weekend. Nancy was a regular attender at CAC meetings and participated in numerous committees over the years. She was a treasured neighbor and a neighborhood historian, residing in Sharon Heights for over 56 years. She was the recipient of the Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year Award in 2018. Nancy was recognized at our Clintonville Area Commission last evening where she was remembered warmly by members of the public and the commission.
