Rest in Peace, Nancy Stewart

The Sharon Heights neighborhood (District 9, Clintonville) suffered a tremendous loss this past week. Beloved friend, neighbor, and community advocate Nancy Stewart passed away suddenly at her home this past weekend. Nancy was a regular attender at CAC meetings and participated in numerous committees over the years. She was a treasured neighbor and a neighborhood historian, residing in Sharon Heights for over 56 years. She was the recipient of the Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year Award in 2018. Nancy was recognized at our Clintonville Area Commission last evening where she was remembered warmly by members of the public and the commission.

What’s Happening in Whetstone Park?

The NEW wetland area installed as part of Blueprint Columbus is shaping up -I think the contractor had noted they had some additional plants that they would install in the spring. It looks a bit sparse now, but next year it should start looking and acting more like a wetland.

Including the planting plan for the basin with the types and locations of the flowers. Also, the informational sign referenced on the plan sheet is coming, though it may not get installed until the spring.
